Animal Care Ltd, York (Full-Time Summer)

June 2013 - Present

I have a full time job in the Summer at Animal Care as a Student Database Worker. I usually work here from June until September, five days a week. I only work full-time in the Summer because I am a student at University. However I have developed on many skills including: Communication; teamwork; time management; organisation and database knowledge. I have worked to high standards with the team to complete daily task, assisted with paperwork, computer work and printing, and carried out tasks on the database involving ICT skills and making spreadsheets.

Café Assistant (Part Time)

2012-2013

For a year while at Sixth Form I spent three days a week working at Morrisons Café on shifts. What I learnt the most from this job is Time Management; I had to work alongside colleagues to complete necessary tasks in time contrained conditions. I gained a lot of knowledge on health and safety regulations and about harmful chemical procedures in a workplace.

Shop Assistant (Part Time)

2011-2012

This was my first paid job so I realised how strict interviewing and how much effort I needed to put in. With this job I had never worked in a shop, never mind in a Bakery Shop and from this job I learnt how to perform in a workplace. I had to form a new routine for my life as during the week I had Sixth Form and every weekend I'd have work. I was usually behind the till so I learnt how to manage money and work tills. I also had to interact with the public and communicate throughout my entire shift. This was an experience I will always remember.
